“Think beyond competing, beyond losing weight, beyond short term goals, and set yourself up to make martial arts a lifelong project.”

“When you find you aren’t progressing the way you would like to, it is time to change things up. Train with partners who bring you out of your comfort zone. Think outside of the box and be creative with your game. Identify problems you are encountering and take initiative to find the answers to those problems.”
